The 23 scramble is Coach Ninham's half-court trapping defensive scheme designed to raise havoc with the offense causing quick shots and turnovers that lead to easy points. In this DVD he features two different trapping scenarios out of the basic 2-3 alignment - the high and low options. Each of these tries to encourage skip passes to allow the defense to easily adjust or pick it off and get the easy points. He also covers picking up the ball above half-court and running a high option on the first pass and picking up the ball just inside the front-court and the trapping options available from there.
