Gregg Marshall teaches a gap based defense in this on-court clinic DVD. Coach Marshall’s philosophy is keep people on the perimeter and force contested jump shots. He accomplishes this by starting with one-on-one drills that emphasize driving lines and contesting shots. He teaches exploding to the ball and jumping to the ball line with a two-on-two drill and continues the progression with three-on-three on one side of the court. Coach Marshall uses the four-on-four shell drill to accomplish a myriad of defensive fundamentals including defending screens and an all sink mentality.
